Our Story
A room built for the hours you want to linger
Lyra Cafe is two dining rooms in Lahore where the light, the music and the plate all agree with each other.
We opened in Gulberg with one rule: nothing leaves the kitchen that we would not happily eat ourselves. That turned into a menu that reads across the Mediterranean, Italy and Japan, cooked to order and finished by hand.
Mornings belong to slow breakfasts, shakshuka and espresso pulled properly. From half past twelve the room shifts — Neapolitan thin crust out of the oven, steak medallions under café de Paris butter, pasta rolled the same morning.
The second room followed in Allama Iqbal Town, built to the same drawing: deep green, warm brass, soft light and tables far enough apart that a conversation stays yours.

How we work
Four things we do not compromise on
Cooked to order
No holding lamps and no shortcuts. Every plate starts when you order it, which is why some dishes take a little longer.
Sourced close
Produce and bread come in daily. The espresso is a single blend we roast with one partner, pulled on a calibrated grind.
Designed to stay in
Low light, deep green, brass and acoustics that let you hear the person across the table. The room is as much of the menu as the food.
Open late
Dining runs until midnight, seven days a week, at both branches — with delivery across the surrounding neighbourhoods.
